The British sportswear brand Castore recently agreed to a multiyear club-record technical partnership with the prestigious Premier League football club Everton F.C. (UK).

‘CASTORE’ stated that the partnership will see Castore supply high-performance playing, training and travel wear from the 2024-2025 seasons – and become the first Founding Partner of ‘The Blues’ soon-to-be home, the Everton Stadium.

The J. Carter Sporting Club Limited, operating as Castore, is a British manufacturer of sportswear and athletic clothing and is headquartered in Manchester, England (UK).

The Everton Football Club is a professional association football club based in Liverpool, England (UK). The club competes in the Premier League, the top tier of English football.

The 39,572-capacity Goodison Park is a football stadium in the Walton area of Liverpool, England (UK), two miles (3 km) North of the City Centre. It has been the home of the Premier League club Everton F.C. since 1892.

The 52,888-capacity Everton Stadium is a football stadium under construction on Bramley-Moore Dock in Vauxhall, Liverpool, England (UK) that will become the home ground for the Everton F.C. ahead of the 2025-2026 seasons replacing the Goodison Park.

‘CASTORE’ further stated that as the Official Technical Partner, Castore will kit-out Everton’s Men’s, Women’s and Academy squads with home, away and third kits from what will be the club’s final season at the Goodison Park and into their state-of-the-art 52,888-capacity waterfront arena.

By joining the club’s journey to the Everton Stadium, the partnership also sees Castore acquiring a Founding Partner status – this is a distinction that will provide Castore access to enhanced commercial opportunities and media rights at Everton’s new home once it opens in Summer 2025.

The deal sees ‘The Blues’ added to an established and growing portfolio of top sporting names partnered with Castore that includes England and Wales Cricket, McLaren F1 and Oracle Red Bull Racing, tennis legend Andy Murray (British tennis player), and Olympic athlete Adam Peaty (English swimmer).

Castore’s Everton range will see the adult supporters have the option of purchasing a ‘Pro’ playing kit or ‘Replica’ kit in line with their offerings to the other top clubs. The ‘Pro Kit’, which will be available in men’s and women’s sizes, will introduce laser-cut detailing to enhance breathability and comfort on the pitch, alongside high-tech features that support performance on the field.

The move to a new Technical Partner sees Everton’s four-year association with the Danish brand hummel come to an end. Like hummel, Castore will work alongside Everton’s Official Retail Partner Fanatics – a global leader in licensed sports merchandise which will continue to deliver official products to the Everton fans, wherever they are in the world.

hummel is a Danish sportswear brand that was founded in 1923 and is known for its roots in handball and football. The brand designs, manufactures and sells clothing and equipment for various sports, as well as sneakers and leisurewear for the adults and children. Hummel is headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark.

Remarked Richard Kenyon, Chief Commercial and Communications Officer at Everton, “We are really pleased to welcome Castore as our new technical kit partner from next season and to announce them as the first Founding Partner of the Everton Stadium. The agreement – another record deal for the club – sees us link up with an ambitious and innovative sportswear brand and comes at a historic time for Everton as we prepare for our stadium move. From our very first conversations, we could see how excited Castore were about the opportunity to work alongside us during this period and we’re looking forward to launching the first set of products this Summer. It was also really pleasing that Castore could see the commercial opportunities in becoming a Founding Partner at our new stadium and it seems fitting that such an ambitious and successful brand from our region is the first of several stadium partners we will be announcing in the coming months.”

Founded in Wirral (UK) in 2016 by brothers and former athletes Tom and Phil Beahon, Castore was created with a mission to develop expertly engineered precision sportswear through technological advancements and partnerships with ambitious teams and exceptional sporting names.

The brand has since grown to become internationally recognizable, working across a broad range of the world’s most popular sports.

Maintained Tom Beahon, Castore Founding Partner, “We’re immensely proud to be partnering with the Everton Football Club as Technical Partner and an Everton Stadium Founding Partner. The Everton are pioneers of the beautiful game and the club’s history of consistently striving for new innovation and setting new norms is a great match with our foundational belief that ‘Better Never Stops’. Being from Merseyside, we truly understand what football means to people in this part of the world and, for that reason, we are looking forward to being part of what is an inspiring and once-in-a-generation journey ahead for Everton.”

Everton’s 2024-2025 home kit will be revealed and made available online and in store in July. The away and third kits will follow later in the Summer.
