In a landmark partnership, the Scottish professional football club Dundee United F.C. (UK) has announced CalForth Construction as their stadium naming rights partner.

‘dundeeunitedfc.co.uk’ stated that as part of the agreement, the Dundee United F.C. home ground will now be known as the CalForth Construction Arena at Tannadice Park until the Summer of 2026, marking one of the most lucrative partnerships in the club’s history.

The Dundee United Football Club is a Scottish professional football club based in the City of Dundee (Scotland, UK). Formed in 1909, originally as Dundee Hibernian, the club changed to the present name in 1923. The United are nicknamed ‘The Terrors’ or ‘The Tangerines’ and the supporters are known as ‘Arabs’. They play in the Scottish Championship.

The Scottish Championship, known as the William Hill Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men’s professional football clubs in Scotland.

Behind the Business and Stadium Improvements

‘dundeeunitedfc.co.uk’ further stated that with a cumulative experience of over 20 years across multiple organizations, United fans Stevie and Grant shared a vision to establish their own business venture. Since its formation in 2022, CalForth have witnessed consistent growth and expansion and now has a robust team of more than 65 professionals.

More so than ever, the Dundee United F.C. is excited to welcome the supporters back to Tannadice this Summer as they prepare for their return to the Scottish Premiership.

The Scottish Premiership, known as the William Hill Premiership for sponsorship reasons, is the top division of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men’s professional football clubs in Scotland.

The supporters will notice a variety of stadium improvements both internally and externally – with more work to be carried out throughout the partnership with fans’ matchday experience at the forefront of their planning.

Work is already underway to improve the main entrance and the surrounding areas, the pitchside walkways and a general uplift around certain parts of the stadium bowl.

Commented Luigi Capuano, Dundee United F.C. head honcho, “We are pleased to announce our partnership with the CalForth Construction which marks a new and exciting chapter for the football club. Securing a naming rights deal for the Tannadice Park is something that we have been working on for some time and it was important for us to find a like-minded organization that has the club’s best interest at heart. This investment will support our long-term plans to thrive in the Scottish Premiership and also enhance the supporters’ matchday experience, improve the stadium facilities and invest in the infrastructure that helps maintain our stadium.”

Concluded Stevie and Grant from CalForth Construction, “Since the business launched, we have been passionate about building our company name by supporting both the amateur and the professional organizations in the local area. We had the opportunity over the 2023-2024 seasons to become involved at Dundee United, taking out sponsorship boards in the stadium and being invited to events throughout the season. We became Platinum Members of Business United and have enjoyed learning more about how the club operates, meeting those within the organization and also being introduced to many of the people and businesses that support the Dundee United. It was through these connections that the opportunity to become involved as a Principal Partner and the naming rights for the stadium were put to us. As two fans of the club, we recognized the significance of being the first company to attribute its name to such a historical stadium. It will always be Tannadice, not only to the fans, but to us as well. We are proud of the business we have built and honored to be able to see our name in connection with the club and the stadium. Our investment stretches further than a financial commitment. We plan to bring our expertise and drive to help improve the stadium and enhance the experience for the supporters and the staff for years to come.”
