The Scottish Premiership team Rangers Football Club (Glasgow, Scotland, UK) have agreed to a new deal with the catering and food service company Elior to become the club’s food and beverage (F&B) partner with immediate effect.

‘RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB’ stated that Elior, who are known and trusted by the club for their previous work at the Rangers F.C. home ground – the Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow, Scotland – have fantastic plans for the development and enhancement of the catering offering for the Rangers supporters on matchdays and beyond.

The Rangers Football Club is a professional football club in Glasgow, Scotland (UK). The team competes in the Scottish Premiership, the top division of Scottish football.

The Ibrox Stadium is a football stadium on the South side of the River Clyde in the Ibrox area of Glasgow, Scotland (UK). The home of the Scottish Premiership team Rangers, the Ibrox is the third-largest football stadium in Scotland with an all-seated capacity of 51,587.

The Elior Group is a multinational company that specializes in catering and food service. Based in France, Elior provides meal services to a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, business, and the travel sector, among others. The company operates primarily in Europe and the United States offering both onsite dining and meal delivery services. They are also involved in facility management services through the subsidiary companies.

‘RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB’ further stated that the deal will see them assume responsibility for all food and beverage (F&B) for matchday hospitality, non-matchday conferences and events, the Ibrox Restaurant, matchday retail, and the Edmiston House (a state-of-the-art event facility comprising the Rangers museum, a new two-story Rangers store and a fantastic events space for use for concerts, events and a fan zone on matchdays).

The Rangers are extremely excited about Elior’s vision to enhance the fan experience at Ibrox and will be consulting with the representatives from their season ticket holders and hospitality guests in due course as they seek to deliver an improved and enhanced offering.

Commenting on the agreement with Elior, the Rangers’ Chief Commercial Officer, Karim Virani, said, “We are really proud to have agreed to this new deal with Elior and are extremely excited to have them return as our partner. The deal will strengthen the offering our supporters receive on a matchday in the stands and in hospitality at the Ibrox as well as in our fantastic restaurant in the Blue Sky Lounge and café in Edmiston House. Elior’s long-term commitment to the club with an extremely strong commercial proposition shows their ambition and stands the club in strong stead for the future too.”

Concluded Virani, “As a Commercial Department, we are continuing to push the boundaries to secure the best deals for the club and for our supporters and we believe this new deal does just that. We look forward to working closely with Elior in the weeks, months and years ahead and to growing this partnership into a really fantastic one for everyone connected to the club.”
