Fan Wall at new Everton stadium Image: Everton FC

The new Everton Stadium is having a commemorative ‘fan wall’ installed to celebrate popular club figures from the past and present.

Everton F.C. said that thousands of supporters will also have the opportunity to become a part of the club’s new home by submitting a photo to be included on the wall.

Following the success of Everton Way, an initiative that gave Evertonians the chance to have a personalised stone installed outside the soon-to-open stadium’s South Stand, a mosaic artwork comprised entirely of fan photos is set to be installed on its river-facing western side.

Named ‘The Originals’, the artwork will honour Everton players who have realised unique achievements while representing the Club and those who have truly embodied the Everton spirit on and off the pitch.

Evertonians from across the world will be able to submit a photo for the wall, with the personal images set to be pieced together to create a magnificent fan-inspired mosaic.

The 52,888-capacity Everton Stadium is a football stadium under construction in Liverpool, England (UK). It’s located on Bramley-Moore Dock in Vauxhall and will be the home ground for Everton FC, starting in the 2025-2026 season.

The stadium is being built to be one of the most environmentally friendly football stadia ever.

The design of the stadium celebrates the long, rich history that defines Everton. Brickwork will pay homage to the famous Archibald Leitch latticework at Goodison Park, while the supporter experience will be at the forefront of shaping the fan plaza.

The stadium is designed to embrace the unique waterfront location on Liverpool’s North docks.

Among the initial line-up of ‘Originals’ will be Dixie Dean, the Club’s greatest ever goalscorer, the Holy Trinity of Alan Ball, Howard Kendall and Colin Harvey, and ‘The last of the Corinthians’, the great Brian Labone.

Everton’s first black captain Kevin Campbell, the club’s record Premier League appearance maker Seamus Coleman and Tim Cahill – a fan favourite and scorer of Australia’s first ever World Cup goal during his time at Everton – will also take their place on the wall.

They are joined by Bob Latchford, a goalscoring hero of the 1970s, and decorated 1980s duo Graeme Sharp and Neville Southall, ensuring the wall represents names and eras that have inspired all generations of Evertonians.

Over the coming seasons, supporters will get the chance to be involved in the selection of more players and Club names to join ‘The Originals’ wall, with the mosaic set to expand, creating new opportunities for Blues to add themselves to the very fabric of the Club’s 52,888-capacity home.

Places on the Fan Wall, priced at £45 per photo, are on sale to Everton fans now, while a range of keepsake mementos allowing supporters to celebrate having taken their place on the wall are also available, starting from £30.
