The League Two team Harrogate Town A.F.C. (UK) has announced that Exercise will become the stadium sponsors from the beginning of the 2024-2025 seasons.

‘Harrogate Town AFC’ stated that this change will see the club’s home ground be known as The Exercise Stadium moving forward. The previous Stadium Sponsor EnviroVent has now become the club’s new front-of-shirt sponsor.

‘Harrogate Town AFC’ further stated that the online fitness equipment provider has been a valued sponsor of the club since 2019, first taking the club’s match ball sponsorship for the 2021-2022 seasons. From this point, the company provided valuable exercise equipment to both the first-team squad and the academy squad to help aid performances on the pitch.

Previously, Exercise have also been the club’s Official Sleeve Sponsor for the club’s historic Football Association (FA) Cup third round tie away at Luton (town in England) in 2022. Throughout their time as sponsors, Exercise has also run numerous competitions with the club which has allowed several lucky supporters the opportunity to get their hands on top of the range exercise equipment.

The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in domestic English football. The generosity of Exercise has also been felt across the club with equipment provided to the club’s Player Development Centre. They have also co-hosted events in the club’s Commercial Street store with Olympian Roger Black MBE (English former athlete).

Most recently, Exercise were sponsors of Harrogate Town A.F.C.’s Executive Suite which plays host to thousands of hospitality guests across an English Football League (EFL) season.

London (UK)-based the English Football League (EFL) is a league of professional football clubs from England and Wales. Founded in 1888 as the Football League, it is the oldest football league in the world and was the top-level football league in England from its foundation until 1992, when the top 22 clubs split from it to form the Premier League (the highest level of the English football league system). The Football League was rebranded as the ‘English Football League’ (EFL) from the 2016-2017 seasons.

Commented David Gilson, Managing Director of Exercise, “Over the past three years, Exercise have been the proud sponsor of the match ball and hospitality suite at Harrogate Town, so becoming the official Stadium Sponsor is a natural progression in continuing our support for the club. The national spotlight will shine on League Two like never before, creating an ideal opportunity to increase the exposure of Harrogate Town and Exercise to a wider audience across the United Kingdom. We very much look forward to welcoming everybody to the new Exercise Stadium for the next three seasons.”

Added Joanne Towler, Harrogate Town Commercial Director, “David, Anita and the team at Exercise have been wonderful supporters of our club for such a long time now and we are absolutely delighted they are our new stadium sponsors. They, like us, are growing and both organizations share like-minded values and the timing couldn’t be better as we enter our fifth season in the EFL. We’d like to express our appreciation to Exercise for their continued support and commitment to Harrogate Town A.F.C.
