Prudential Center Pier Club peerless seating

The creation of the Pier Club, a new premium space that is part of a reimagining of premium seating at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey (US), is on schedule for completion by early September, the Prudential Center officials announced.

‘roi-nj.com’ stated that located on the second suite level of the West side of the building, the Pier Club will provide 2- to 8-person modern seating options for year-round access to the National Hockey League (NHL) team New Jersey Devils home games and more than 200 world-class events at their home venue – the Prudential Center.

The 18,000-capacity Prudential Center is a multipurpose indoor arena in the Central Business District (CBD) of Newark, New Jersey, United States. Opened in 2007, it is the home of the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL).

The New Jersey Devils are a professional ice hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey (US). The Devils compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Metropolitan Division in the Eastern Conference.

‘roi-nj.com’ further stated that inspired by the Jersey Shore, the new premium hospitality space offers an exclusive center view into the arena, the private bar and the lounge, the VIP parking and entrance, and a variety of seating options including the private boxes, premium plush seats and barstools.

Levy (based in Chicago, US), a market leader in world-class hospitality at iconic sports and entertainment venues, will service the premium space with all-inclusive food and beverage (F&B) to create an elevated hospitality experience.

The Prudential Center officials said the following has taken place since the Pier Club was first announced in May:

All the furniture, fixtures and finishes have been removed and the walls and ceilings have been demolished in the previous suites, hallways and bathroom spaces;
The new design has been laid out;
The wall studs for the new loge boxes have been erected;
New power and data has been run in the open ceilings and walls;
The floor tiling has started to be laid in the club and the bathrooms; and
The super-riser in the center seating section has been built and the new stairs have been poured and are in place.

Construction, which is being handled by the Phelps Construction Group, is scheduled to be over before the start of the 2024-2025 NHL seasons (to begin on October 8^th).

Boonton (US)-based the Phelps Construction Group provides pre-construction, general contracting and construction management services to meet all of a client’s construction needs from the initial conceptual budget through to the completion and maintenance of the new facility.

New York (US)-based the National Hockey League (NHL is a professional ice hockey league in North America comprising 32 teams – 25 in the United States and 7 in Canada.
