Raiders fans in for rollicking tailgate time

The National Football League (NFL) team Las Vegas Raiders continue to look for ways to improve the fan experience at their home facility – the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada (US) – one of the NFL’s newest stadiums.

‘si.com’ stated that the stadium has added its ‘Premium Tailgate Space’ for the fans to enjoy before home-game kickoffs. According to the club, the experience will include “private hospitality”, “upscale ambiance”, “all-inclusive packages”, a “climate-controlled environment”, “game viewing experience”, and seating availability for more than 15 people.

The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football team based in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The Raiders compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference West division.

The 65,000-capacity Allegiant Stadium is a domed multipurpose stadium located in Paradise, Nevada, Southwest of adjacent Las Vegas (US). Opened in 2020, it is the home field of the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL).

‘si.com’ further stated that the Raiders’ Premium Tailgate Space will consist of two stories, with prices starting at $20,000 for the all-inclusive packages.

According to Raiders Vice-President of Premium Sales and Service Panos Pappas, the Raider Nation (the official name for the fans of the Las Vegas Raiders) requested the idea of the new tailgate experience.

Pappas said at a media preview of the Premium Tailgate Space recently, “There’s been a demand. There has been people calling our service team, our sales team and we’ve been talking about it for a couple of years and we thought it was something that we should probably do.”

This new feature adds to what is already one of the most iconic tailgate experiences in all of the NFL, as Raider Nation is known for throwing one heck of a pre-game party for its beloved team.

Added Papas, “It’s the greatest tailgate fan base, it’s the greatest stadium, it’s the greatest City, so let’s do the greatest tailgate party.”

The Raiders Owner Mark Davis and his club are constantly looking to better the fan experience at their soon-to-be four-year-old stadium.

The Allegiant Stadium opened in July 2020 and has since hosted the NFL Pro Bowl (an annual event held by the NFL featuring the league’s star players), the NFL Draft (an annual event which serves as the most common source of player recruitment in the NFL) and the Super Bowl (the annual league championship game of the NFL).

Tickets for the ‘Premium Tailgate Space’ go on sale next month.
