Football’s governing body for North and Central America, Concacaf, has officially confirmed the venues for the 2025 Gold Cup.

The Athletic said the Gold Cup will take place from June 14 to July 6, 2025, bringing together 16 teams from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Miami (US)-based the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, abbreviated as Concacaf, is one of FIFA’s six continental governing bodies for association football.

The Concacaf Gold Cup is the main association football competition of the men’s national football teams governed by Concacaf, determining the continental champion of North America, Central America and the Caribbean. The Gold Cup is held every two years.

The 18th running of the event will be held one year before the FIFA World Cup 2026™, which is being co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

A total of 14 stadiums in the U.S. and Canada will host the tournament, including three first-time Gold Cup venues: BC Place (Vancouver, BC), PayPal Park (San Jose, CA), and U.S. Bank Stadium (Minneapolis, MN). Concacaf say they will “confirm specific match venue allocations at a later date”.

CONCACAF president and FIFA vice president, Victor Montagliani, said, “The CONCACAF Gold Cup is our flagship event for men’s national teams and the 2025 edition is certain to be a highly competitive tournament that delivers on and off the pitch for the competing teams and their fans.

“As the last official centralized tournament in our region before the FIFA World Cup 2026, this Gold Cup will provide all participating federations with a great challenge and will be critical to their preparations for World Cup qualification and for participation in the FIFA World Cup itself.

“The tournament will create a tremendous opportunity for fans across the confederation to engage with the sport at such a pivotal time for its development.

“I want to thank all 14 of the host stadiums and cities for their immense support for the Gold Cup, for CONCACAF and their commitment to supporting the growth of the game in our region.”

Mexico are the reigning Gold Cup champions, having defeated Panama 1-0 in the 2023 final. They have nine titles in total, while the U.S. and Canada hold seven and one respectively.

Most of the Gold Cup venues are located on the west coast, while the FIFA Club World Cup™, which is taking place from June 15 to July 13, will host the majority of its matches on the east coast.

Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, Nevada
